The Palm Town Country Club

The Palm Town Country Club

Architectural Brief

The lighting design for The Palms Town & Country Club was conceived as an invisible layer of luxury—a scheme that enhances the club's colonial-inspired architecture while maintaining a contemporary, understated elegance. Our objective was to create a "Visual Sanctuary" amidst the high-energy urban landscape of Gurgaon.

To achieve this, we employed a highly localized lighting strategy. In the sprawling outdoor areas and poolside terraces, we used Kendo’s low-voltage architectural accents to highlight the lush landscaping without creating light pollution, ensuring a soft, moonlight effect. Internally, the club's dining and lounge areas feature a sophisticated mix of indirect cove lighting and high-precision, narrow-beam spotlights. These elements work in unison to draw attention to the rich timber finishes and soft textiles, creating a series of intimate "pockets" within the larger social volumes.

The result is an environment that feels both expansive and personal, where the lighting doesn't just illuminate a space—it defines the mood of the community.
