The lighting narrative for the new GLA University Campus in Knowledge Park II, Greater Noida, revolves around the concept of "Cognitive Clarity"—using light as a catalyst for focus, energy, and visual comfort. Spanning an advanced, tech-driven academic footprint, the primary challenge was to design a highly efficient, glare-controlled layout that complements the university's corporate-aligned, AI-integrated educational philosophy.
Our strategy heavily deployed Kendo’s low-profile, high-output recessed linear fixtures seamlessly integrated into the ceilings of the data labs, advanced computer centers, and digital classrooms. This configuration creates clean, unbroken lines of light that mimic natural daylight distribution, reducing eye strain and eliminating screen glare (UGR < 19). For the multi-tier lecture theaters and public transition galleries, we introduced discrete, dimmable architectural downlights to carve out subtle visual pathways and balance the high-volume structures. The resulting space is a masterclass in clean, modern institutional design, where precision engineering fosters an environment built for intense collaboration and elite academic performance.
